How To Help
C.E.M.I. will purchase bicycles and cows in support of pastors and their ministries. Bicycles will be provided to the pastors and those who oversee orphanages to be used for transportation to markets and other villages to obtain necessary items. Cows will also be provided to pastors and those who oversee orphanages. The milk will be sold and the proceeds will be used as income to care for pastors’ families and the youth at the orphanages. In addition to providing bicycles and cows to those in Uganda, money will be provided to pastors from other countries to purchase cows and bicycles when they return home. These are pastors who journey from their countries to attend C.E.M.I.’s conferences such as pastors from Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, the Congo, and northern Africa.

There is a great need for Bibles in Uganda. Many of the believers do not have access to a Bible. The people of God are hungry for the word of God, but do not have any money to purchase Bibles. If people do not have Bibles, how can they read and be transformed by the mighty work of the Lord Jesu s Christ in their lives? The Bible says, “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near” (Rev. 1:3). So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Rom. 10:17). How can one’s faith be developed without reading the word of God? We know that it will be pleasing to God to provide Bibles to those who are in need of Bibles. A donation of $5.00 will purchase one Bible. Your generous donation of $100.00 will help to purchase Bibles for 20 Bibles for believers. |

Bicycles are purchased for full-time pastors who are faithful in the work of the Lord. In Uganda, bicycles are the primary mode of transportation. Without a bicycle, pastors are hampered in effectively doing the work of God as well as providing support for their families. Owning a bicycle in Uganda is tantamount to having an automobile in the USA. However, the need for a bicycle in Uganda is very critical, because there is no means of public transportation such as we have in the USA. Bicycles in Uganda are equipped for providing transportation for at least two individuals. A donation of $120.00 will purchase a bicycle suitable for transportation for the pastor as well as another passenger, if necessary. |

Owning a goat is of necessity for pastors who are in full-time ministry and would serve as a means of providing milk for their families. In additional, owning a goat would also provide financial assistance to pastors and their families as they sell milk to those in surrounding villages. The financial support raised by pastors as a result of selling milk would enable them to spend more time effectively ministering to the people of God. A donation of $55.00 would provide one goat for each pastor. |

C.E.M.I. sponsors pastors from several neighboring countries such as the Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi and northern Uganda to attend Pastors’ Conferences and Theological training in Jinja, Uganda. The training is provided by God’s servants who are trained in sound doctrine. Attendance in these sessions allows pastors to be trained in the pure and unadulterated word of God. It also provides the opportunity for God’s pastors to fellowship and to pray with one another. This training will enable pastors to become more effective pastors in preaching the true word of God to their congregations. Expenses for each pastor includes: travel, meals, and accommodations. A donation of $200.00 will provide for one pastor to attend all sessions for two weeks. |

In Uganda and other East African countries such as the Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Burundi, there are numerous homeless children who have no hope for future care from those who love them. Many of these children roam the streets, seeking handouts, such as food and money, from people on the street. C.E.M.I. serves as an intermediary between pastors, homeless children and an established orphanage to place these children in loving, caring Christian homes wherein the children’s physical, educational and spiritual needs can be met. A donation of $45.00 per month will ensure the provision of the needs for one child. It is C.E.M.I.’s vision is that at least a total of 50 children will be placed in 2008. |

School supplies are needed for adults who are enrolled in the C.E.M.I School of Theology as well as for children who are in school. Supplies include theological books, Bible dictionaries, regular dictionaries, pens, notebooks, notepads, pencils, erasers, rulers (metric, plastic), and crayons. Providing these items to adults and children who are destitute will enable them to give full time and attention to their learning rather than concerning themselves with not having those necessary items that would aid them in their learning. Adults and children in Uganda are very destitute and in many instances do not have the necessary nutritious meals that are required to sustain their physical strength and wellbeing. C.E.M.I. collaborates with pastors and overseers of orphanages to assist in providing for those who have not means of providing for themselves. A donation of $50.00 per month would ensure that meals are available to those who are without any means to provide for themselves and their families. |

Contributions for the construction of a building in Uganda, the Congo, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda are needed. These buildings will serve as multipurpose buildings that will be used for a church building and a Bible School. Land will be identified by the pastors of these countries for the construction of the buildings. C.E.M.I. will serve as the overseer of the construction of each building and ensure that the facilities are utilized for the purpose for they were built. A commitment of $50.00 per month will aid in assisting the pastors in their need for a permanent location to minister to the people of God. |
