In these troubled times of wars and rumors of wars, how is your prayer life? When was the last time you prayed for God to move in a supernatural way to bring souls to His Kingdom? Are you a laborer for His harvest field?
It is God’s will that none should perish. Christ’s mission for His church is that we share the Gospel (Good News) throughout the world.
The harvest field needs faithful workers. The field is ripe and plenteous. In the cities, in the villages, across the rivers, over the hills, in the slums...wherever there are unsaved people, we are called to labor in this present harvest field.
In Matthew 9:38, our Lord said, “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.” Today, with all the uncertainties in the world, people are looking for answers. Many people are afraid and in a place of despair. As God’s children, we have the answer. We must seize this moment to direct them to Christ. No other religion has a guarantee to heaven like Christianity. The good news still stands—Christ is the answer.
Salvation is through faith in Christ Jesus. Peace of mind and hope for tomorrow is found only in Him.
After my graduation from seminary God gave me a vision for evangelism. This led to the formation of CEMI. He has raised up this ministry to be active in global evangelism. The vision is to equip and send out saints worldwide to be laborers for God’s harvest. The work is unlimited, but there are so few to do it.
I encourage all believers to be both faithful in prayer and active in evangelism. This is the most rewarding life we can live. Ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen your love for people and increase your passion for soul winning. Satan keeps or tries to keep us busy dealing with life’s problems. However, we should endeavor to live for Jesus and live to serve Him.
Be fully devoted to His Spirit’s leading. Remember, He already instructed us to go and proclaim the “gospel of the kingdom.” When we say yes to the Lord, we are, in essence, presenting our bodies a living sacrifice to Him.
May our Lord’s last command truly become our greatest concern. Ask God to make you a laborer for His harvest field.
